Children who have finished the Qaida and are now reading from the Mushaf. Teenagers and adults who read but stumble, or who read smoothly and suspect they are reading smoothly wrong. Reverts who learned to read from transliteration or apps and want the real thing. Complete beginners should start with Noorani Qaida or Noor Al-Bayaan instead.

I'm an adult and slightly embarrassed about my reading. Is that a problem?

No, and you are in a large group. A good number of our students are adults, many of them parents who realised their child had overtaken them. Your teacher has taught dozens of people from exactly where you are.

What's the difference between this and the Tajweed course?

This course is about reading the Mushaf well overall; the Tajweed courses teach the rules themselves, systematically. Most students take both, often in the same week.

Can my child take this alongside memorisation?

Yes, and it is a good pairing. Recitation lessons keep the reading accurate while memorisation lessons build the volume.

Do you teach specific riwayat?

Our teachers hold ijazah in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, which is what almost every UK family reads. If you need another riwayah, ask us and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can match you.
