Advanced Tajweed — For Readers Who Want to Recite Properly
There is a gap between reciting without mistakes and reciting well. Most students who finish a beginners’ Tajweed course sit in that gap: the rules are known, the reading is clean, and something is still missing.

WHO IT’S FOR
For the child knows basic Tajweed
Students who have completed a beginners’ Tajweed course or learned the rules elsewhere and now recite accurately. Huffaz who want their recitation to match their memorisation. Anyone preparing to be tested for an ijazah. If you are still uncertain about noon sakinah or madd, take Tajweed for Beginners first — this course assumes them.
Advanced Tajweed
What This Course Covers
For readers who already know the rules and want mastery.Your teacher refines the finest distinctions — the articulation that survives casual correction, the branched madd rules, the meaning-changing stops, and the control that makes recitation truly sound like recitation — with an honest standard, lesson by lesson.
Refined Makharij
The distinctions that survive casual correction: the precise throat letters, the emphatic letters, and ra and lam in their heavy and light states.
Detailed Sifaat
The secondary qualities and how they interact — including the letters that change character depending on what surrounds them.
The Finer Madd Rules
The branched lengthenings, the differences of opinion on counts, and holding your chosen count consistently across a whole page.
Waqf & Ibtida
Where to stop and where to begin again. Meaning changes with the stop — so this is a comprehension skill as much as a technical one.
Ghunnah, Tafkheem & Tarqeeq
These qualities in live practice — the level of control at which recitation starts to sound like recitation.
Ijazah Preparation
For those who want it: sustained, tested recitation of large portions to an ijazah-holding teacher, with the standard applied honestly.
Every lesson is one-to-one. Your teacher listens closely and holds an honest standard, at your pace — mastery is never rushed, and no detail is waved through.
How the Lessons Work
One-to-one over Zoom, with an ijazah-certified teacher. You recite; your teacher listens with the standard set high and corrects at a level of detail you may not have experienced before.
Most students take 45 or 60 minutes, two or three times a week — enough time to work slowly and precisely, without rushing a single letter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you give ijazah?
Our teachers hold ijazah in Hafs ‘an ‘Asim and can prepare you to the standard required. Tell us at the start that this is your goal so your teacher can plan for it rather than discover it later.
How do I know if I'm ready for this course?
If you can read a page of the Mushaf applying the noon sakinah, meem sakinah and madd rules without stopping to think, you are ready. Your free trial lesson will settle it either way.
Is this suitable for children?
For older children and teenagers who already recite well, yes. Younger children are usually better served by the beginners’ course and time.
Do you teach riwayat other than Hafs?
Ask us. We will tell you honestly whether we have a teacher who can do it properly rather than take the booking and improvise.
